Merry Christmas

Well I am exhausted, that was a Christmas that was very well done.

We have had an absolutely epic Christmas day today. We have barely had to move from home, but that hasn't stopped us collapsing into bed exhausted by the end of it. Basically the last 14 hours have passed in a present giving, family meeting, food preparing and eating blur. Awesome.

As is the standard at the moment, our day started at about 5:00am when we were woken up by our children. It hasn't really stopped from there.

As exhausting as the day has been, we couldn't have asked for a better day. Today has been everything that Christmas should be, lots of good quality time with loved ones and family and a whole heap of fun. It has been busy, but we couldn't have asked for a better day. For us it will go down as a Christmas to be remembered.

Time for bed now, and then a whole bunch of recovery tomorrow. We haven't really done anything active today, but I suspect we are going to need a bit of time sitting still tomorrow to get over it all the same.

Time for some sleep. .
