COFFEE!!!

Well back to it today. Back to the fun filled world that is my day job. Not all that bright eyed and bushy tailed if I am being perfectly honest. Our plane got in at 11:00pm last night, so I was in bed by about 1:00am. We all survived, but only just.

Currently I am physically awake, but mentally it is questionable.

I was chatting to James Hodge after the race on Sunday morning and he asked me if I worked, which I said unfortunately yes. He said he didn't know how we age groupers fitted in training and working (he fits in training and Uni). On days like today, I wonder that to.

If anybody wants to pay me to train and race, I would be more than happy to.

Really nice young guy by the way. In the brief chat we had, he really seemed to have a good head screwed on his shoulders. So much talent as well, I reckon he will achieve some big things in the triathlon world if he wants to.

The trip home went pretty well. Like the trip up to Bintan, it is a long day of travel, but each of the steps of the trip are pretty straight forward. It is just a matter of taking it one step at a time. The kids travelled like little legends as well.

One very big upside to being back home though is decent coffee. I had a great time in Bintan, and the local people are just amazing, but man I couldn't beg, buy or steal a decent cup of coffee up there. I was really hanging out by the time I made it back home.

Also while I was away, the office got resupplied with Milo, which is great news. We have been Miloless for a few months now, it has been a bit heartbreaking, but no more. Hot Milos are back on the menu. Hooray. So I guess that is an upside to being back in the office. Little things.

I am currently working on the race report for Bintan. I should have it up later today, or tomorrow morning, so stay tuned.
