Tired Day

Rest day again and this time around I am very thankful. Not sure why but feeling a little frazzled today. Possibly to much sun yesterday during the brick session. Whatever the reason I certainly feel like I could do with the rest. I will take it pretty easy today, make sure I am properly rehydrated etc. Hopefully I should feel fine again in the morning.

Everything is starting to gear up towards race mode now. A bit of an easier adaption week this week, before beginning taper next week. Time to get the bike into the shop for one last checkover. One thing I have learned is to never leave the bike checkup until the week before a race. It is one of those rules to follow, right up there with, never race in new shoes. Just because a bike shop services a bike, doesn't mean they are going to get everything 100% correct. I usually like to get my bike done at least two weeks before a race. That gives me enough time to do some training miles on it and make sure everything is nice and settled. Unfortunatley the P5 hasn't really had enough miles on it to make it worth it up until now. Even now I suspect that it hasn't, but I would prefer to be safe rather than sorry.

Well, on with the rest day. This rest and recovery won't do itself.
