Reminders

Back on the trainer again this morning. Whilst I have pulled up okay from my ride on Sunday, I made the decision to jump on the Kickr again this morning just to give my shoulder a bit more rest. After my run yesterday I am keen to run again later in the week so I figure the more rest I can give my shoulder in between the better.

Not that my shoulder has reacted badly too yesterday's run. It is feeling quite good in fact, I just want to make sure it stays that way.

The ride on the trainer this morning was a good reminder of just how quickly the body remembers. After my grind of a run yesterday I wasn't expecting much from the bike session this morning. However, to my surprise the trainer session this morning showed a marked improvement over my sessions from last week. Significantly better power output for much the same heart rate.

The power output is still a long way from the norm, but it was good to see it moving in the right direction. I will wait until the power outputs have been replicated in a few more sessions before I get too excited, but today was a great step forward.

Back on the trainer again in the morning for much the same reason as I was on there this morning. Hopefully the session goes half as well.
