Orange and Black

Just a quiet one today, having a nice relaxing, rainy ANZAC day with the family. Healing up a bit after yesterday.

On that front, the healing seems to be going fine. I am still marvelling at how lightly I got off from yesterday's crash. In a lot of ways, yesterday's crash was worse than the one where I did my shoulder, so I am fully aware just how lucky I am. The only item or soreness I have is my elbow, but even that has improved today. It is still sore and I still have impeded movement, but it is a lot better than it was. The plan is to go and see physio Marc See tomorrow anyway, just to play it safe. Hopefully it is one of those appointments where I walk in and say, 'it was really sore, believe me, but now it isn't'. Fingers crossed.

Today wasn't all sitting on the couch licking wounds though (although that was part of it). Today also bought this to my door.

This the new Break Your Limits race kit. A very nice, one piece 2XU speedsuit. The club was a bit hesistant to go with a one piece since they are less forgiving in terms of fit. The main concern is whether or not they are going to fit your torso length (since you can't really adjust that). I have to say that for me at least this one fits like a glove. In fact I am very keen to be trying it out in anger at Rottnest in a few weeks time. Overall quality looks good, and like at BYL kit, it looks absolutely brilliant.

Training again tomorrow. Hopefully the elbow comes to the party.
