One more sleep

Kona tomorrow, well actually in a few hours. Very exciting and I am not even there. I can sort of imagine how Marcus, Stef and Bryan from Daryl's squad are feeling, since I am pretty sure it is similar to how I was feeling the night before Vegas last year. I only hope they are managing to sleep better right now than I did. Being down in Perth I unfortunately haven't been able to watch them train, but from everyone I have spoken to, they are all on fire. If everything goes to plan, then I think there could be some pretty good performances tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Since this week is a recovery week, training today has been a pretty low key affair. Short ride this morning with some short intervals. Wasn't to bad, the intervals all went well, actually they felt pretty good. The only downside to the ride was the short little showers that insisted on coming through. Not enough to soak you, but just enough to be annoying and cold. Oh well, we really are on the tail end of that sort of weather. You can tell there is a big local event coming up though, plenty of TT bikes on the road this morning.

This afternoon it was a return to Claremont and to the Swim Smooth Saturday session. Between the Grand Final (session cancelled) and the mega rides last weekend, I haven't been to the Saturday swim for a couple of weeks. It was very good to get back there, since the session is always fun. Plus I felt pretty good, which was a very nice change from my Wednesday swim.

Training tomorrow starts off with a bike/run session and then finishes off with a lot of sitting in front of an athlete tracker.
