Hot steaming wreck

Full struggle town today.

For various reasons of which I am not entirely sure I only got about 3 hours sleep last night. Just couldn't seem to drift off. I have concluded that too much caffeine is to blame, but equally things like stress etc could be the culprit, although that isn't so much of an issue at the moment. The caffeine bit seems like the most likely issue.

The poor, poor sleep has meant my plans for the day have rapidly gone out the window. Training sessions, forget it, meaningful contributions to society, not today my friend. Survival mode on.

As is always the way with these sorts of unexpected curve balls from life, there really is no choice but to roll with it and move on. Despite the extreme lack of sleep, the day has actually been surprisingly productive and so it hasn't been a complete write off. I might even be able to salvage some training for the day. It wasn't what was on the original plan, but happy to work with what I can at the moment.

I may absolutely crash and burn later today, but so far so good. The night/morning has been frustrating and more than a little annoying, but often good can be salvaged from what might have otherwise been a hot steaming wreck, sometimes all it takes is a little will to do so.
