The day before

Well this is it, the work is done, registration is complete and the bike is racked (it better be), all that is left now is to finish dinner and hopefully get some sleep. Tomorrow it is time to race.

Not much to post at tonight, I am currently sitting in a camp ground in the bush a few kms from nowhere and a few more kms from Buselton typing on a computer. Ain't technology something. My plan for the morning is to be up very early and finish the drive to Busso to be there in time for transition closing. Hopefully I am also there in time to not have any athletes freak out. Should be a fun morning.

As for my athletes, I haven't had too many nervous phone calls and hopefully they are starting to give bedtime some serious thought. The forecast is still not looking awesome, but to be honest it seems to change every time I read it, so I really am not sure what is going to turn up. None of the forecasts I have read have been super awesome, but honestly I am not sure we know what we are going to get, and whatever it is everyone will be racing anyway. Control the controllable as we said earlier in the week. It will be what it will be, the weather seems pretty alright right now, so if this just hangs around until mid morning then we will be laughing.

No matter what happens tomorrow I am looking forward to having a good day out, the racing should be pretty fierce at the front end and I am looking forward to a lot of our Front Runner athletes achieving their goals. We have a lot of first timers out there tomorrow so it is going to be great to see them get around the course for the first time.

Now with that, I think it might be time to crawl into my sleeping bag, big day tomorrow.
