It's my party and I will blog if I want to

39 today. Last year of my 30s as my sister kindly pointed out this morning. Gee thanks.

A fairly unremarkable day as days go, but pleasant all the same. I spent the day at work, which isn't always my first choice for Birthday's, but wasn't too bad today, there was cake, so that usually makes days better.

While I was at work, it was a day where my guiding principle was doing stuff that I was going to enjoy, which made for relaxing(ish) sort of day.

The day started off with a ride with the Front Runner team, which I then extended for a bit of extra solo time based on the the aforementioned idea of "do stuff that I enjoy". I ended up being on the bike for a very enjoyable 90 minutes, so that was a pretty nice way to start things off. The day was finished off with a nice dinner and some more cake. Not much more you can ask for than that.

I might leave it at that, as I think it might be time for some sleep. Bed by 9:00pm. Perfect way to finish off a Birthday.

Bring on tomorrow and the start of my 39th year.
