Quiet One

A quiet one today. A nice bit of morning spent out on the paddle board this morning and not a lot else.

It was rather a lovely morning out on the river, warmish temperatures, light winds, a bit of work, but not too much. Didn't fall in. All good stuff. Very peaceful way to spend the start of the day.

On other fronts I haven't heard from Doctor Stobie yet regarding yesterday's stress test. This in itself is not a big deal as he is pretty busy and it can take him a little bit of time to get to through the results. No stress in my mind, I am not going anywhere. I am obviously very interested to hear what the results show and find out what it means going forward, but I am also not expecting the results to be a massive revelation. I suspect the outcome of the stress test will be permission to keep being active, with possibly a bit more flexibility on just how active I can be. I am keen to know, but I can wait a couple of days to hear if need be.

After that I will definitely be calling to check up on them though.

Down the pool in the morning for the Wednesday Red Mist session. Always a fun one to see from the pool deck, find out what particular task of torture Paul has dreamt up. Watch the folks put themselves to the task and get through. Struggle or triumph, it is always a session that brings rewards and a sense of achievement which is always great to watch. This is one of those sessions where the real gains are earned, it is a tough one, but for most people the results justify the effort.

Love it.
