Why is it so damn cold. We were hanging out today with one of our friends who is from Canada and even she rocked up with a scarf on complaining about the cold. Another 2 degree morning that made me glad that I was having a sleep in. No such joy tomorrow morning though, back to it with a short session on the bike. Good chance I will be rugging up, all the way up. Although at the moment it is raining (of course) which means tomorrow morning may not be quite so artic.
I am convinced that my cough, which was clearing up so nicely, has settled in for the long haul with this latest cold weather. Oh well, other than the cough I am feeling fine, so I can afford to entertain it for a while longer. I will be happy once it is gone though.
Bike is back together. The rather complicated dance that is the reconstruction of a P5 went pretty smoothly this time, so hopefully that means I am getting the hang of it. Will give it a ride later on to make sure that all the bits are actually in the right place, rather than just looking like they are. That can always hide an unpleasant surprise.
All up it has been a nice post race recovery week. Other than the cough I am feeling pretty okay. I could be feeling better, but I feel good enough. Time to get back on with it. It all starts again tomorrow.
