Back to it

Getting to the end of my recovery week now. Got my program for next week from Daryl this morning. Easing back into it like a slap in the face with a wet fish. Looking forward to it though really, which is just what you want at the end of a recovery week. You know that if you get to the end of a recovery week still feeling mentally exhausted, then the next training block is going to be a tough one. So it is good to feel keen.

This weekend it will be time to get the race bike back together, clean off all the dried electolyte etc. I just haven't had a chance until now. For me getting all those things back in order is part of mentally changing gear from recovery back into training. Still I am planning on having one last quiet weekend before descending back into the madness of training.
